Dr Kamila Szuberska

Dr Kamila Szuberska is a cosmetic and restorative dentist who sees adults and children. She treats decay and restores teeth that are chipped, worn or discoloured, with an emphasis on natural appearance, function and minimally invasive treatment. She plans care around each patient, paying attention to the details that matter for both appearance and lasting function. Her aim is a natural-looking, balanced smile while preserving oral health and long-term stability.

How she works

The starting point is keeping as much of the natural tooth as possible. Where an early area of decay can be remineralised, she takes that approach. When a filling is needed, she places composite in layers under magnification, using modern adhesive materials to achieve a close fit while preserving tooth tissue. With deep decay, she assesses whether the pulp — the living tissue inside the tooth — can be kept alive. Root canal treatment is considered when it is the better option for that tooth.

Shape, colour and ceramic restorations

She offers composite bonding to close gaps and correct the shape and colour of front teeth, as well as whitening. Where suitable, bonding can be an alternative to porcelain veneers. When ceramic treatment is needed, she plans restorations from a digital scan, including EMAX restorations made in a dental laboratory.

Crowns, bridges and dentures

She provides crowns and bridges supported by natural teeth. The practice offers porcelain-fused-to-metal, zirconia and all-ceramic crowns and bridges; crowns and many bridges are designed from a digital scan.

She also provides dentures: full and partial acrylic dentures, partial dentures with a metal framework, and flexible partial dentures. All dentures at the practice are made by SkyDent Dental Laboratory.

Training

Her training includes a 12-month programme in advanced cosmetic dentistry at Advanced Dental Seminars in London, led by Dr Christopher Orr, and courses in London with Dr Jason Smithson and Dr Monik Vasant.

She has also attended courses with Style Italiano in Italy and training with the Dawson Academy in the UK, covering comprehensive restorative dentistry, occlusion — how the teeth meet — and the relationship between appearance and function. In Poland, she has trained with Dr Maciej Żarow, Dr Krystian Owczarczak and Dr Danuta Borczyk.

She regularly attends conferences and courses, including IDS in Cologne, IDEX in Istanbul and the Greater New York Dental Meeting.

Cases

The three before-and-after cases shown on the homepage are her work, carried out and photographed at Medical-Dent: ceramic crowns after decay and discolouration, EMAX veneers on uneven front teeth, and replacement of old metal-based crowns with all-ceramic ones. Each began with a written treatment plan and the published fees.

Practical

Consultations are available in English or Polish. She uses the practice’s digital radiography and diagnostic laser for early decay detection, and spends time on prevention: brushing technique, diet, fluoride and fissure sealants for children.
