Dr Anna Bradley

Dr Anna Bradley (née Kukulska) qualified at the Medical University of Gdańsk and went on to take the postgraduate Master of Endodontics at King’s College London. Root canal treatment is most of what she does here: first treatments, retreatments where an earlier root canal has failed, and the difficult cases — perforations, calcified canals, internal and external resorption, and surgical endodontics such as root-end resection.

How she works

Every endodontic case is treated under the Global microscope at up to 25× magnification, with digital radiography and, where the anatomy warrants it, a CBCT scan before starting. Canals are shaped with NiTi rotary instruments and sealed with warm thermoplastic obturation. Anaesthesia is given with the SleeperOne computer-controlled system, which is slow and largely painless.

Her default is to keep the tooth. A tooth that another practice has written off for extraction is worth a proper look first; many can be treated, and she will say plainly when one cannot.

Beyond endodontics

She also does restorative work — composite fillings placed in layers, minimally invasive treatment of decay, and the core build-ups and crowns that a root-treated tooth usually needs afterwards, so the same person sees the case through.

Practical

Consultations are in English or Polish, and a Polish-speaking nurse is with patients throughout the visit. Dr Bradley is registered with the General Dental Council.
