Treatments
Dr Angeliki Dalakoura qualified at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and holds a master’s degree from Queen Mary University of London. She provides microscope-assisted root canal treatment and restorative dentistry at Medical-Dent.
How she works
She treats endodontic cases including first-time root canal treatment, retreatment after a failed root canal, perforations and resorption. Treatment is carried out under the Global microscope, with CBCT imaging where a two-dimensional x-ray is not enough, NiTi rotary instruments and SleeperOne anaesthesia.
Like Dr Bradley, she starts from the assumption that a tooth with a live root is worth saving, and will give a straight opinion when it is not.
Beyond endodontics
She also does restorative dentistry: layered composite restorations, minimally invasive treatment of decay, and the fillings and build-ups that follow root canal treatment.
Practical
Consultations are in English or Greek; she also has working Polish, and a Polish-speaking nurse is with patients throughout the visit. Dr Dalakoura is registered with the General Dental Council.
